Imperials are the most versatile faction in the game. They are of medium height and athletic constitution.Their skill as naval engineers makes their vessels the most resistant of Symeria. They are good sailors and great traders too.Their hand to hand fight is very efficient, because of their fencing knowledge and their skill with sword. We could say their use of the gunpowder is quite good. Therefore, although they don’t stand out in any military field, they handle themselves fairly well, which will surprise their foes more than once. When they are obliged to fight hand to hand, they prefer noble weapons, such as foil or sabre. Weapons for a clean and polite fight, althought sometimes that’s not possible at all. They are fairly skilled with daggers and musket too. Imperials don’t have a preferred or stablished modus operandi, they adapt their strategy to each situation, seeking to surprise the opponent. They can even change the strategy in the middle of a battle, making them tough and unpredictable enemies.

They are small, with a skinny constitution, which make them the lest efficient faction in a hand to hand battle. It is not a matter of skill but of pure strength. These weakness they balance with an incredible good shot with heavy weaponry and their fast maneuverability, making their swift vessels sail elegantly away from yours. They would be perfectly capable of doubling the hits on the target with long range weapons compared with any other faction. They love gunpowder and the iron and steel industry, and that’s the reason why they have a wide arsenal that makes them unique at long distances. Their ships usually spit all kinds of fire on their foes, keeping their vessel as far as possible to avoid boarding. In case the boarding is unavoidable, their favourite hand weapons are musket, bow anblunderbuss. Behind that weak appearance there are fierce strategist, capable of sinking ships even before being seen. They own an impresive and enviable weaponry technologies, that will help them outdistance their enemies if they don’t play right their cards.

Nordic people are usually heavily built, big and wide shouldered. At first sight, they are the faction mostintimidating. Their skill fighting and their brute force makes them to seek close contact with their enemies. At close range, at body-to-body battle, they are in their element. They like to look into the eyes of the person they are killing. They’re great sailors, thus they know well how to take the most of the wind to catch up with their enemies. Another thing they crow about is their skill with the harpoon, a good reason for being experts in fishing big pieces. The nordic vessels that doesn’t end in piracy or some army usually make a living with that. This skill is of course usefull in battle too, where they have a exclusive and powerful weapon, the Shiphunter harpoon. On the other hand, they are good carpenters. Not in vain the wood from Nartec forests is the most abundant and the best quality one in all Symeria. Their favorite weapons are usually very heavy, as maces, hammers or axes.
